Just curious since my latch is broken on mine, would this part listed for a RRS/LR4 fit the LR3? Does anyone know if the center console is any different?

Looks very similar from the photos on the listing.
However, I was able to repair the latch. There's a pin/rod that slides to the side and the plastic nub breaks off. I put some plastic epoxy on the broken end of the nub and around the joint. Works like a champ. All the parts were captive, so nothing was lost. Be sure to get everything together correctly before you epoxy as the rod may no longer be able to slide out.
If you can take it apart to replace the pan, I'm confident you could fix it!

 

I actually did fix it, but the fix only held up for about a year. Looks like I'll either have to keep gluing or see if this part works.

 

I took a piece of aluminium cut it to fit around the post and bent it on both sides until it would latch to the console, then glued it with contact cement to the spring loaded lever.
