Default Miles to Metric?

I'm in Canada and I bought a US LR3.

Does anyone know if its possible to change the Trip Computer Info over to Metric from Miles?

Yes, it tells you in the manual how to do it.

I guess this thing has a little glitch. I tried doing it exactly like the Manual states, but instead of bringing up the "Settings" menu, it just starts cycling through the different fields again.

Hmmm........

Have to be stationary and push the button on the end of the turn signal. the first screen should say settings. Then use the stering wheel radio buttons to scroll through the options.

Did exactly that.

Vehicle stopped, first with it off and the key in position 2, and then running in Park. Pressed the button on the end of the Signal Stalk starting at the blank screen.

All it does is cycle through the Trip Computer info.

Am I missing something?

Nope, still nothing. Tried upwards of 50 times so far.

I noticed in the Owners Manual where it details changing the Trip Computer info, it has an * which denotes that its an Option. I'm thinking that maybe in some stroke of bad luck, that this may not be a function available to me.

I also noticed that I don't have the ability to customize my Land Rover button function on my KeyFob.

So, barring all of that, do you guys think that this is something I could have the Dealer Service Department sort out through some other diagnostic means?
