Default My LR3 Curtsy's !

My 2008 LR3 HSE has taken up Curtsying when we come to a stop light!! By that I mean the hood ( bonnet) dips about 25mm (1") and then rises again. I don't know if it does it while I drive mainly because of all the other distractions while you drive. About three years ago we replaced the air compressor and last year we replaced the two front struts. The shop I take it to suggested it may have a slow leak, but after leaving it in high mode (off road) measured the height, then the next day I only had at best 1mm drop over all..
Has anyone an idea of what could be causing this or is it something we should learn to live with? Love this truck not keen on the new one.

They only way it can dropped unexpected is with a leak. Check for leaks, its that simple.

Default Sound about right

These things are dynamic. When braking, the computer may try to raise the front as you are stopping and then lower after you stop.

It is different, but not unexpected.

The 07 does it from time to time. No faults that I have noted in the system.

My 06 does it too. But only if I haven't been moving for a few minutes like at a drive thru.

Just figured it was the car thinking if it's stopped for that long someone is getting in or out and it drops to access mode.

Lifts right up as soon as I move though

Dropping to access mode would be a major issue. The vehicle would never do that intentionally, especially when in drive.

Just drops the nose, not all 4 corners.

Definitely not a leak, it's a deliberate move by the truck. Has to be a setting that tells it to after X minutes of not moving assume someone is getting in/out

Mine adjusts randomly when not moving, but that's normal and typically and occurs front & rear. Its just adjusting height. To drop to access - thats a leak. And it makes no sense that they would program the car to drop that far just because its sitting still in drive and *thinks* someone might get out. People get out when a car comes to a stop, they dont generally loiter inside long.

Mine does it too. First time was a little strange - came to a stop in traffic and the nose dropped - huh?, checked the info screen and all is 'normal'. After the next few random and sporadic times it happens I figure its not big deal
