I think this will happen eventually. Can the air strut bellow be temporary fixed with a metal tie? Like the original one? Looks like the zip tie does the job temporarily. I need to drive to the mech shop.
Thanks!
Dont worry about the cable tie, its not original and was likely holding the strut dust cover on.It should have a metal strap/tie on it.
And that dust cover isn't the source of the leak , its only for protection.

Its only for protection, if you get bubbles then there is a leak in the main airbag.

I spray there. But get no bubbles.
buying a better jack. 6 ton bottle with 16” range is ok? Or I need at least 21” of lifting range?

In prepare for the repair, Atlantic British EAS is the OEM part? What about Bilstein or Arnott? Better place to buy it? I’m from Puerto Rico, so parts are commonly less available at Autozone, Advance, etc.

Hi I’m back.
Replaced rear air struts, sparks, front and rear disc and pads and oil leak from main seal repaired.

i let the truck unused for 1 week, all four corners were down, immediately goes up when turned on. That’s normal?

Mech noticed that the control arms are also in need of replace. Is better full replace or just the bushings? Upgraded bushings?

Power steering rack is leaking too!

Still have the airbag and tpms warning lights on!

For a bidirectional scanner, icarsoft CR Max is ok? I know Gap tool is the best, but with this experience thinking about stay with the LR3…

I'd do the entire control arm(s)....and I'd get a GAP.

Hi!
One of the airbag code was cleared with the clock spring replacement. But now I have no communication between the ride level control and steering SAS. I installed the old clock spring and still the same. Now HDC fault is alive!

Weird thing, I installed another clockspring that trigger the SAS, etc. I installed the old one, clear the alarm and the front Air bag code go away.

New Autel Scanner (MaxiPRO MP900-BT) did the magic. SAS completed in less than 10 seconds. Now I have just the Passenger Side code b002a-1b.

I requested another clockspring.
in the meantime, how I remove the passenger seat to reach the airbag cables?

Thanks
