Okay I've been working through my issues with this new to me LR3, fixed water leaks at sunroof drains lifted carpet to dry out and in the process found broken wire under door sill on passenger side repaired it and now my door lock remote works, whoo-hoo. but after I got it back together I have no sound from radio neither volume control does anything, I have power and ground at amp.
I pulled sill cover back up and looked at wiring and don't see an obvious problem but while checking this it has started working for a few seconds as soon as I cycle the key but will quit again about the time I get back around the car. hope someone can and will help.

 

Need to know the sound system package, but odds are its the amp or maybe when working you left something unplugged. Amp is under passenger seat and it is, in most systems, the actual "radio" in a way since it handles the audio for the truck including inputs over the fiber bus if installed.

 

It has amp under seat, everything's plugged in. After fixed remote wire and putting back together had nothing then pulled trim back up and looked through wires to see if I could see anything and comes on for less than a minute and all works then shuts down until you shut key off and back on
