Need new(maybe bigger) tires, and NOT stock 255/60/18!
Hi all
New to posting but have been following the threads and looking up things for a while. You all offer great advice so thanks. I need new tires For my stock 2006 lr3 se with 255/60/18. Not a big selection in this size! I'd like to go to 265/60/18 or even 265/65/18 for a slightly bigger look and much bigger selection. VERY little off road so mainly street. Will either size fit without any rubbing issues? I want to keep things stock. Again Just want a bigger tire selection. Thinking about Michelin LTX MS as I have them on my truck and they are quite and do well for all season tires. Thanks again!!

265/60/r18 rubbed a bit at full turn
265/65/r18 adds ~13% more sidewall I think, may rub a tiny bit.
Rub area is frame horns, not wheel well at this tire size FYI. You can grind them down, cut the corners off, or unbolt them entirely if you have a MY with bolts and not welds to the frame.
Think most people run 265/65/r18 or larger. Fitment should be fine, just anticipate kissing the frame horns at full lock when you're trying to make a u turn or park tightly.
