Default Need New Tires

Help.I have a 2008 LR3 which has Kumho Road Venture Apt 255/60R18 112V on the front and Lion Sport 4x4 Lead 255/60R18 112V on the back.

I have been researching and not really sure which tires to purchase. I don’t do off roading, don’t need snow tires but good all-season tires?

Another question, why did the former owner put different tires on the front and back?

Thanks for any assistance.

Default A good choice..

...would be the Yokohama Geolander A/T GO15. I just put those on my wife's '06. We don't plan on really wheelin' that one but it will see duty on trails to campsites, trailheads and snow. I took it out to do some wheelin' last month just to test the new tires. While clearly street-biased they did well in the dirt and do have the snowflake symbol.

As for the PO and their tire choices .. just basic cluelessness or cheapness I'd guess.

I really like my Falken Wildpeak AT3 - they are 265/60R18 XL
Great wear, great in all seasons, snowflake rated, great off road, quiet, look great, matching spare fits easily

If anything, get them for being quiet, all season, great wear, and XL rated
