I just replaced the Goodyear tires on my 2005 LR3 with Toyo tires. Wow, big difference. The ride is much smoother and quieter. I knew the Goodyear tires were "bad news", but now I know just how bad.

 

Great choice of tires,and you're right,the"WoodYear's" are pretty crappy on a Rover.The tires on my Series II Discovery were shot at 15,000km's(no kidding), I replaced them with Michelin Cross Terrain's and it was like driving a totally different truck.
