Default New LR3 Owner w/ Basic Questions

Hoping to get help with 2 basic questions.

1. I want to get rid of the Wrangler HP's that came with the the truck. Are there any drawbacks to going to 265's vs255's. I have had historically had goodexeriences with GY Fortera's and GYWrangler Silent Armor. ThereLI's are 110 and 109 respectively. The HP's and other tires ofidentical size are at 112.Is this a big deal?

2.When lowered to crawl mode, what is the trucks clearance?

Thanks for the help with some rookie questions...I thought I would miss my 2002 Disco, butthe LR3 has been nothing but upside so far. Anything else I should be on the look out for?

Only positive results from going higher side wall in my experience. 265 and 285 fit well, look nice and ride awesome in comparison with the 255s. Not sure of the clearance in access mode. Don't have my owner's manual close by at the moment.

HAVE TALKED TO GUYS WITH THE 285 AND IS SOUNDS LIKE NO RUBBING ISSUES IN ACESS MODE. Can anyone confirm that out there?

There should be no rubbin in access mode with the 285s, even at full turns. Just keep in mind that the wiring for the suspension system is VERY close and exposed to tire rubbin on the driver's side. If you are going with 285, I would recommend relocating the waring harness a little higher to avoid any chances that it will catch and brake off. Very few people have had this happen that I know of, but why take any chances if a simple zip tie or at best a self tapping screw can prevent the problem.
