Default New Member with an LR3 Hands Free Microphone Problem

Hello,
I'm a new member from Ontario, Canada looking for advice. I have an LR3 and I'm having a hard time trying to figure out how to fix my problem with the hands free phone system. I am able to make calls through voice command, key pad on the dash, and voice button on steering wheel. Call always connects. I can hear the person on the other end but they can't hear me. Is there something I can do to fix this problem or do I need to have a professional make the repair? Please help.

It could be an issue with the microphone, Bluetooth module, Amplifier, or the Nav ECU, if fitted. Since you said you can make a call through voice command, I'm guessing the Mic is ok. Most common issue is with phone comparability with the bluetooth module. Try another phone if you can. If another phone works, and your bluetooth is factory fit, not the accesory module, you can have the software updated, which may or may not help.

Default Yes, try a second phone.

It may be that all is fine with the BlueTooth in the 3. The problem may be a setting on your phone.

I have a Blackberry 9630 on Telus and these are some of the settings. I seem to recall that until I got them all set correctly, I had lots of problems being head, echo, no connect; could not hear the other side; they could not hear me; it went on and on.

Discoverable: Yes

Allow outgoing calls: Always

Connect on Power UP: Yes

Trusted should show as Yes.

Encryption should be set to Disabled.

Echo Control as Automatic
