Default Nitto AT 305/40r22... on my 05 D3

I just wanted to throw out there that ALL TERRAINS look and feel a hell of a lot better than what the dealer had on there.... the truck already came with the wheels but had 285 35 22 tires.. a week into lr3 ownership and a stupid little screw had my truck parked the past couple days while all warehouses were closed for christmas... that gave me time to plan my tire selection to increase future durability with some big meats... some minor rub, but nothing a razorblade cant fix... wheels look to be a 9.5 inch to 10 inch rim with 6.5-7 inch backspacing... I will post pics tomorrow as it was already dark when pulled it out the shop...

now we ll see if a darn screw will get the best of us again... happy tire shopping to all.... fit and sit like a land rover should.... 31.6 tall and I believe 11+ wide... on normal ride height no lift....

pics available to see tomorrow....

Default polar opposites

Hey,

now that is a good looking 3!

If you venture off road you may want to look into a lift, there are lots of options so do a bit of homework and pick what suits you and your driving style(s).

personal opinion, but, I think that 22's are a bit much and would rather have 20's but you work with what you got, right? I have Nitto's more aggressive Trail Grapplers at 32.59 on stock 18's (which rub everywhere and are way too big btw). And mine's black. Very much the opposite, but that don't mean that the LR3 ever looks bad.
