No heat on the driver's side

No heat on the driver's side
I am only getting lukewarm air on the front driver's side of my LR3, with max heat on. There is plenty of heat on the passenger's side and in the rear vents, but it's pretty chilly coming out of the vents on the driver's side, up and down.
Any ideas on what I've got going on?

thats a good question. Part will be under 100, labor should be 3-5 hours. I’m guessing, need to determine which motor. I’ve never done the job, but have a vehicle that needs it, blows ice cold on driver side.

Turn the key on, engine off. Open driver’s door. Kneel Down outside driver’s door. Turn fan on low. Turn driver’s side temp **** on hot. Now turn the passenger temp to hot and then to cold. The blend door is in the lower section of the center console. The stepper motor attaches to the driver’s side of the center console behind the trim. Listen carefully. You should be able to hear the motor cycling. You can remove the trim above the brake and gas pedal, just two screws. On the Range Rover sport access to the motor is more open than on the lr3. It is tucked away pretty tightly. Good luck. Phil

I've written on this forum before about this issue. Mine was a clogged heater core. For whatever reason, the heater core is lower on the drivers side and sediment can sit there and clog it. I also did not believe that a clogged core would cause low heat on only one side, but gave in after wasting hours tracking down a blend door problem and coming up empty. A heater core flush wasn't strong enough to break up the sediment.
Replacing the core took half a day as a DIY. A little annoying but not as bad as people suggested. I was widely told to take it to a shop. The right side and center dash comes apart, old core slides out and new in. Connecting the new was a pain with the flange connectors supplied and by far the worst part. They always had a tiny leak. Eventually cut the flanges and added a flexible heater pipe connection. Heat was fixed to drivers side and no problems several years later.
