My Disco 3 had accident and has been fitted with new airbag on the steering but the horn and other controls on steering won't work, I have been told by the mechanic that the spiral cable in the steering is broken, has anyone ever fixed theirs before and if you have a diagram or pictures please help me out.
Also need the part number for after market air compressor pump, please let me know where to get one, the part number and brand, since my compressor keeps playing up.

 

If you have not done it before don't try. Why didn't the mechanic who replaced the bag deal with it.
By the way you have an LR3 not a Disco 3.
