Default No throttle response

This problem started last year (05 LR3 HSE Petrol) When I put my foot down the car just doesn't respond. It jeks and lurges forward, throttle feels like it's not attached to the accelaerator pedal. The dealer reprogrammed the car in August and it seemed to dissappear but could be wrong. Anyway, it's back. On occassions the car deaccelerates and then when you regas the engine it doesn't respond. Does this car have a throttle cable or is it some type of electronic gizmo that meters the fuel to the engine?

Default RE: No throttle response

Your problem could actually be transmission related. In my case, I have had on going transmission issues that result in the same effect. The dealer re-programmed my transmission with the "new" transmission program. It drove fantastic for about a month (like a new car) but now it's back and worse than ever.

no throttle cable involved its all electronic throttle body and gas pedal..,sounds like you have a transmission adaptation issue just drive the car had once in a while, floor it a few times it will adapt and youll have crisper throttle response, not a problem just people
