Bwahahahaha....yeah a few Hop Venoms later, (and maybe an Armored Fist), and you'd be in no shape for driving.

[QUOTE=schwaggy;573146]I did. I had mine shipped to Seattle but there were no problems.

So you bought the rover without even driving it first?

Yes, but I know what to look for in regards to this practice.
Plus, take a look at Bill's Outland site. He's a reputable dealer, specializing in LR's. Look at the pictures and descriptions of the vehicles. He's willing to send more detailed photos or video if you want and he spent a bit of time with me on the phone going over any concerns I had. Basically, he's an honest person. His prices reflect the care he puts in, but still not as expensive as in Seattle. Not sure I would buy sight unseen from say, eBay or whatever, but my experience with Outland was good.

I too got my LR3 from Bill @ Outland in Bend, Oregon. He ships nationwide and is a very honest guy. If your in the market give him a call, he is a real car guy and Land Rover aficionado.

Would you all recommend that it's ok to buy from Outland without a prepurchase inspection?

I'll be back in Bend next month -- more than happy to go kick the tires on something if you're still looking.
