Default Nut/Bolt size for mounting A BAR with winch

I have an early model A BAR part # VUB5011230 (know as the "bolt back" type). I have the fitting instructions and I am having a local fab shop make the heavy mounting brackets that attaches to the bumper but I do not know how big the nuts that are welded to the bracket need to be, or how long the bolts should be.

Any help from those that have (or had) the early bolt on type would be appreciated.

Jeff

Please keep me posted on this. The plastic brackets that attach to the A-Frame have long since broken. I'd like to create a solution but they would need to somehow be fitted to the brushbar itself.

Default Plastic brackets

There is a website that sells a 3D printed upper bracket. I figured I would just bend some aluminum to fit and screw it to the grill. What I need is the heavy steel brackets that bolt to the bumper.

I saw that 3D printer document. The issue is that I'm not sure how to connect them to the brush bar itself; just screw them in? The original holes are probably ripped out. Those brackets don't really do much, structurally, anyway. Probably just there to help with vibration.

Yeah, there are 2 plastic mounting plates with two holes for the bracket to attach. I think there is a metal plate formed into the bar that the mounting part screws into. I suppose if that was missing than you could fill the void with epoxy or JB weld then drill and tap a hole for a fasting point for the new bracket. Do you have the fitting instructions?
