Oil Filter Assembly Leak
Hey Guys,
This is a second post (first is about small steering leak), I bought a 2006 LR3 SE V8 about 2 months ago and have been enjoying the hell out of it. Honestly best vehicle I have ever driven. It definitely came with some issues and I'm slowly knocking out each one. This is about a leak in the Oil Filter Assembly. My local mechanic says that the seals all need to be replaced around the oil filter, adapter and mounting bolt. See attached photo below. I'm having trouble finding the seals online. The manual doesn't have parts numbers for them and though i do see tons of seals on rover parts i'm not sure which ones are which. So I'm basically looking for advice on how to identify the seals by part number and find them online, and also any advice from people that have experienced this already. Maybe I should try to clean the assembly using brake cleaner and see specifically where the oil is leaking from? I assume has been leaking for a long time and the leak is just a slow grind. Any advice would be appreciated.

It is likely not those o-rings that are leaking and probably the main housing to block seals. This seal sits were you see the most oil in the pic. Part link for example only, always recommend OEM seals:
