Some of you have given high recommendations for this dealer. So much so that I'll likely be purchasing my LR3 from them, knowing that I will be getting a truck with issues sorted without needing an additional pre-purchase inspection. It's a long drive but I think it will be worth it.


So, for those of you who have purchased from them, is it best to call them up and tell them exactly what you are looking for? Or, just keep and eye on their inventory? I've been watching their inventory online for some time now and it doesn't seem to update much.

You might want to call Bill. I too have been watching the inventory and what was typically several specimens to choose from and constant changing inventory has definitely slowed down. Maybe he's had a busy summer playing with some of the non-Land Rover toys he seems to have and hasn't gone to any auctions lately.

 

I did a special order -- there is a link on their website. IIRC the deposit was a bit steep ($1500) but it applies toward the purchase and is refundable if something isn't found that meets your criteria. It took 6 or 8 weeks but I got exactly what I wanted, an '09 HSE HD, and was happy to not have to deal with a fly-n-buy, etc.
