Default lock actuator Motors

Anyone know the part #, site or store where I can find the lock actuator motors. I found the auction that had the springs which was a big help. I would like to have the motors ready before I start to tear the doors apart. I did find some old links on here about the motors but none seem to work now.

www.roverlandparts.com
www.atlanticbritish.com
Or you can take your old motor to RadioShack and match it up with another high speed 12v motor.

you can also buy aftermarket actuators, they wont be a direct fit and you will have to tap into the factory wires (right at the plug) however they are about 80% - 90% cheaper than factory replacements.

Your 04 needs a complete door latch assembly, best place to find one as already mentioned would be roverlandparts.com for a good guaranteed used one.

NiteTrain I will stand behind DEI high power lock actuators 100%, the part number is 524N and you can order them online for about $20 a pop (that includes shipping), or your local best buy install bay or car audio and security shop may carry them for about that same price. There are dozens of different brands on the market I have seen them as cheap as $4 each, but they might not last very long.

DEI (or Directed Electronics Inc.) is the same company that makes Viper, Clifford, Python, Hornet, Ungo and many others.

as for Disco Mikes comment on the 04 and needing an entire assembly I have never looked inside an 04's door so I dont know if you have an extra option, but he knows this stuff very well so I would definitely take his advice under heavy consideration.
