To answer your question, it happens to all vehicles, not just Rovers. If the vehicle has an aluminum pan and proper car isn't taken, this is what happens. And for the record, "dealer maintained" doesn't guarantee success. Behind the "smoke and mirrors" of the dealer facade, there are some really bad techs working there (some good ones too, I'm not bashing the dealer).

Yeah...you are right. I have experienced both. Now I have it down to ONE GUY. I don't let anyone else touch my Rover when I go to the dealer.
