Unhappy P0000 Error code

Hi Guys:

My LR3 has been giving me a check engine light with a P0000 error code that I was able to check and clear with my Scangauge. From the research that I have done this means that there is a "Null Error". The car could not fully read the error or there was miscommunication. Has anyone else had this error? What was the outcome?

Thank you!

miscommunication with your scanguage. The federal govt required a change back in 05 to a different form of obd2 scanner program. You have to have a newer one after that time. Its also possible that one isn't upto snuff on the newer ones.

Default Thank you!!!

Thanks Rovin4life. I do have the new version of the scangauge that came out recently unfortunately it is not up to par. I went to l local parts place and borrowed their reader. It was a P0128 code. From the additional research that I have done I think that I have narrowed it down to the thermostat. They seem to be a big wear item. We are at 105K miles now and many people have had failures at around 50K miles.
