Default P0016. Checked it all.

Hello folksI have a 06 range rover sport hse v8 4.4Getting a fast reset p0016I've replaced both of the cam sensors on the rear of the heads. Replaced the crank sensor. Checked the ground on the cam buss wiring.checked reluctor on the bank 1 cam. Checked crank reluctor. Chains are tight.Checked wiring to the VVT solenoids. Checked engine ground. Good battery.only thing I've noticed it that a bank one vvt is newer. But it doesn't hit hard like the bank 2 solenoid when power is put to it. I've pulled it and put power. It looks like it's traveling all the way but does get warm fairly quik.Im in the usa. To verify that looking at the front of the engine bank one is on the left. Please help

Well. I'm guessing that nobody has any input. So to help others in their search for problem solving. I found a weak tensioner on the short cam chain up top. I've decided to order the timing tools and the timing set along with the needed gaskets.
I'll update you on the findings as I go.

No input because you listed the code but not what it is. I myself do not like having to google codes when they can just be posted in the thread. Also this is an LR3 subform, not a Range Rover subform. I would find it odd that a tensioner would cause issues besides maybe chain rattle at startup, etc. Stuff like that - because a chain, while loose, will in no way impact timing. For that to happen a chain would have to jump a tooth. VVT solenoids, if an issue, are easy to pull and you did and just clean and replace if needed. They do collect crap in a poorly maintained engine or one that used conventional oil. Did you clean them? I dont know off hand, but if the VVT solenoid are swappable side to side, you can try a swap and see if whatever code you are getting changes?
