Default P0610 fault code

I have a P0610 code that I can't get rid of. The full message is:

Control module vehicle options error - P0610
System internal failure - Special memory failure (Intermittent)

I've done an online search and there are very few cases where people have had to deal with this code.

Some background info. Last year I had a rebuilt engine installed. In the process of getting things working properly, I wiped out my CCF file. I didn't have a backup copy, so I had to build it from scratch. That fixed most of the issues I was having, but I can't get rid of the P0610 code.

My guess is that a setting in the CCF and is throwing the fault. Does anybody have a list of their settings that they might be able to share? I'll post my settings later today, but I don't know if anybody would want to read through it line by line.

Just had this same fault, won’t go away, after changing my tire size in the CCF.

did you ever find a resolution?

Does anyone know the standard tire radius setting in the CCF file for the Gap tool? I’m going to set mine back to standard but stupidly didn’t note the original value…and now I can’t remember.

Probably 15"...you sure it is asking for "radius" and not diameter? Tires are typically referred to by their diameter. Like when bros say "yeah I'm sittin' on 33s..." that is a 33" diameter, not a radius.

I ended up taking the car in to an independent Land Rover shop. They were able to reflash the CCF and that resolved the issue. I did reach out to Gap at one point to see if they could send a working CCF but that went nowhere. You might want to reach out to them for support. I have a Faultmate, so Gap obviously has no reason to help me.

The car config tool in the IIDTool is definitely to change tire radius size not diameter. The selectable options for radius sizes are in millimeters and are don't get big enough for diameter (350mm-410mm). I just put a help request in with GAP. We'll see what they say.

resolved! Turns out I just didn’t wait long enough during the ccf upload. The Gap tool gets to a point where it seems like it froze and an error message is displayed on the radio readout. Ignore all this and just keep waiting, eventually the vehicle system will turn back on and the gap tool will give instructions to turn off and turn the Rover back on (position 2)
