Just got a LR3 just worndering should the Passenger Air Bag light"off" surpose to stay on when no one is in the seat. Mines seems to come on for a few seconds then turns off when I start the car.

 

I will check i think it will go out i notice it comes on when my wife climbes in the back to plug the kid in. and i think it goes off but not shure.

 

If no one is in the seat the lightwill not be on and the air bag will be off. If less then 60 pounds is in the seat the "air bag off" light will be on and the air bag will be off. If greater then 60 pounds then the light will be off and airbag will be on.
