Default passenger air bag removal

Got a tray and grab handle to delete the passenger airbag, how do I get it out?

Just flip down the glove box and unplug unbolt or to you pull the dash

You don't have to pull the dash. Can't find a link for the disco, but same as a 95rrc.

Supp Restraint starts on page 562 - 563

You can use a 8mm 12 point socket, but it's actually a torx outer socket. You will need at least a 6" extension, more like 10".

Drop the glove box down, there are channels bored out in the foam, 2 at front and 2 at back. 4 total.

Undo them, pull the bag up and unplug the connector(battery disconnected if you are cautious!).

I didn't dig the tray underneath. That's why I didn't grab it. Post some pics when you get it in.

The 4 bolts you need to remove require an E10 socket and long extensions.

Tape over it, it's faster.......

The whole mission when we get these things is to make lights go out. The longer and more bored we get we seem to make more lights appear........
