Default Please help.hazards on.central locking on and off.system shutdown

Hi everyone
in need of some advice please guys.
I have a 2005 lr3 tdv6
problem is this.
turn ignition on and central locking starts going on and off.
then hazard lights come on.
radio says vehicle fault system shutting down.
interior electrics go off,radio,blowers,
then after 1 min all comes back on.
will be ok for 1 min to 10 minute then fault repeats.
end up driving around with my hazards flashing all the time.

garage suggested it could be my instrument cluster losing communication so sent that away for full rebuild.
got it back today and fault still same.
checked transfer case module for corrosion but looks mint on terminals.
fitted new brake light switch today.
checked wiring in passenger foot well but all seems ok.
did have a problem last year though with water getting in passenger foot well once but cant see any damage.
really stuck what to do now.
just had a week off work whilst instrument cluster was being repaired and now I'm still screwed.
any advice very welcome
thank you so much in advance
Steve

Sorted it.
took stereo out and switch panel underneath it .
the plug on the back of the blowers was not conncted properly.
had this fault on and off for 2 years and it was a loose electrical plug.
wiggling the connector made the central locking go crazy so clipped it in proper.
Sorted

First thing I would check is the battery. These trucks have so many toys thats its a real draw on the system and when it cant give the power it needs the rover goes into crisis mode. Take it somewhere and have the battery tested. Water does sound like the culprit though, any chance a drink spilled? That killed my transmission shifter and locked up the tranny with a Christmas tree of lights. Any fault codes or CEL that you can get read? That would be a big help to know any codes.

That's crazy, but not wholly unexpected from these rolling computers. Glad you got it figured out!

Has the issue come back? After the loss plug behind the radio?

Hi Steve, I have the exact same issue, car has been in and out of garages for 6weeks and they can't find the fault as it's so intermittent! I have also taken out the radio, not a huge amount going on behind there and switches seem fine. You mention you took the switch panel off from under the stereo, do you mean the climate control? Or is there something else I should look for? Any help appreciated as this is driving me crazy and I can't continue driving about with my hazards on!!!

Default Flashing Hazards while driving

I have the exact same issue with my 2006 LR3. Door locks start going off, AC shuts down and radio then shuts down with "System Shut Off". Driving around with Hazards on. HELP! this is intermitted and sometimes goes of for no reason or on bumpy road. Seems like a loose connection, but there seems to be so many ways this could happen. Does anyone know where I can start eliminating potential causes, THANKS!
