Preventive maintenance?
Hi Every1
I got a 06 LR3 4.4L V8 US version. Last year, I changed the front diff, rear diff and transfer case fluid. Before I changed them, I put some seafoam in it and drove it for about 40 miles before I drained them. It drained a lil easier I think. I also I changed the transmission fluid. Same thing I put in some seafoam in the tank and then drove it a lil bit and then drained it.
This year, I want to do more preventive maintenance. I got a toyota prius too. I just did a intake mandifold, egr, egr pipe, egr cooler cleanings and put a new PCV valve in. It took 6 hours though. Took everything and cleaned them and put them back together. I wonder if I can do the same for LR3? Im sure there is a intake mandifold but not sure if the egr, egr cooler. PCV valve ? Or what other preventive maintenance you guys suggest?

- Throttle Body Gasket and Throttle Body Clean
- EGR Valve GASKET, if not the ERG Valve and the Gasket (EGR Valve isn't Cheap)
- T Valve - as mentioned - to Brass.
- PCV Valve
- VVT Seals
- Plugs on this are easy. Do them.
- Hoses - No one does it - but it's good preventative. They will go...
