Default look nice

It looks quite nice - the contrast between the shiny black of the middle section of the bumper blends well with the sort of charcoal dull black of the bumper end caps - well done.

Is there also a black film on the windscreen or it just looks that way in the picture?

Thanks boss and you are correct on the windshield. It is fully tinted 20%.

You're inviting yourself to tickets-galore with a front windshield tint. It's against federal law to have your windshield tinted darker than the factory 80% or whatever.

Plus, think what would happen if you got into an accident with your Landy... even if it wasn't your fault, they could pin it on you saying your view was obstructed by a 20% dark tint.

Something to think about ...

LOL @ federal law. It wouldn't be the first time I broke one of those. The view from the inside is excellent. I am not concerned about accidents. It's nothing money can't replace.

Default heat reduction

The reason I asked about the windscreen tint is that I am annoyed that Land Rover does not seem to make any apparent infra red reduction glass windscreen available. Sound reduction, yes, UV yes, heated, yes, but IR reducing, no.

US manufactured automobiles use IR glass almost as standard as that allows the AC size to be reduced and hence improves CAFE, Corporate Average Fuel Consumption).

German vehicles, no, as the sun really does not every shine in the EU with any intensity, hence IR reduction is not regarded as necessary.
