Radio Issues
#4
Yes/no-it depends-----
Too many unknowns to give any advice. Both of the above suggestion are good answers.
The first is the simplest and possibly the easiest.
The second requires a bit more info before I recommend it as an option.
Help us out a little;
What year of LR3?
Does the radio have a 6 CD changer?
Does the radio have the 9 digit keypad on the left side of the radio face?
Do you have satnav?
Are you pretty good with automotive systems?
Can you rewire the complete audio system to add or bypass the amp?
Do you want an aftermarket sat nav/bluetooth system?
Do you want a backup camera?
Each of these questions have been asked and answered here on this site, or on he D3 UK forum.
If you just want a radio, replace what you have. It will by far be the cheapest and easiest route.
Changing the radio brings a lot of new feature we wish were in even the 2018 Land Rovers, but it may take some work and money, and we are willing to tell you what to work on and how to spend your money
I know this is long and seems like I and discouraging you from changing the radio, That is not the case. I did it on a 2007 HSE last year. Changing the radio is not as simple as other cars and requires more research and effort than it does on your buddies Toyota Tacoma.
We will help any way we can. Let us which way you go.
