Default Rallye Stripe

For some time I had been contemplating adding a center stripe to my white LR3 and now its done. Actually turned out quite nice and adds a sporty appeal IMO. Used 3M professional grade satin black material applied using a wax and grease remover 1st, and water/squeegee to obtain a good tight seal including all edges.

Runs front to back (and between glass breaks from the windshield, sunroof and pano roof to the rear door glass. All in $200 to do including labor.

Let me know what you guys think (and if you like it, and want to do it to your LR, you can send me $25 checks for my copyright use):-)

Put a "53" on the door and call the LR3 "Herbie".

Default spare tyre carrier

Actually I like the spare tyre carrier.

Do you know what brand it is - looks good, and I suppose works OK?

It looks ok, but seriously, you filed a copyright with the USPTO on a rally stripe...

no, not really, did not file a CR, was just joking

the spare tire rack is seriously robust, super heavy duty, integrated into the rear bumper (a bitch to install) and works just like it did the day I installed it 7 years ago....purchased from British Pacific but not sure they still sell them. They were expensive, i.e. $1k and I don't think the sold too many of them for that reason.
