Default Really? Still with the water?

I honestly thought I had this water issue finally solved. Still I have a damp carpet on the passenger side.

1) My sunroof Drain tubes are not leaking. Have checked. Not blocked.
2) No water from the cowl (my cabin filter is bone dry)
3) A-Pillar has the fix
4) I had a mis-fitted a/c tube connection. Fixed and the tube blown clear of any debris. No leak.
5) No leaking around the heater core (and this doesn't smell of anti freeze....)

Now stumped as to why my carpet is still damp. Just the passenger side...

The only thing I can think of - the A-Pillar fastener need extra sealant around them? I even sealed up the upper hole where the moulding tang went since mine broke off...

Thoughts?

Try putting a tissue paper above the right kick panel as high and as forward as you can stuff it. If it is the A pillar, it should show signs of getting wet.

I usually fill in those holes that do not have a fastener and apply a very larger (1/8 to 5/16 dia) bead of silicone sealant around the holes for the fasteners. let them set until that have a skin but are still pliable before attaching the A pillar trim.

Don't give up there are not THAT many places water can get in.

I think you are close.

Sunroof drains not being blocked does not mean not leaking. They can have rotted enough to be leaking yet still seemingly drain. Can always tape off the sunroof to test that theory.

Also keep in mind that once wet, it will be wet for a very long time unless you make copious efforts to lift, dry and get rid of the excess water. It really soaks in well to the padding! Think mine felt damp for at lest a month.

Default I was gonna say...

...like Dakota said, it takes a lot of effort to dry it. I used a hair dryer for DAYS to dry it out.
