Default Rear door inop

Greetings everyone,
So my rear drivers side door will not open with the inside latch but the outside works fine and opens the door. I'm assuming some sort of linkage problem. Has anyone tore into the door panels and can tell me how many beers of difficulty this will be?

Technically one beer, but for my wife’s sake I would quote 3 beer difficulty.

Hardest part is taking the pull handle cover off without breaking the tabs.

Once that’s off start unscrewing the 4 screws beneath. The rest on the panel are obvious except the one hidden under the Land Rover logo, pry that up.

Most likely the cable has come disconnected from the inner handle.

Do you feel any resistance from the inner handle? If so, maybe it’s the lock mechanism itself.

To be clear, I was using the 1-10 beer scale.

No resistance at all from the inside handle. I just tapped a new Guinness keg for my kegerator so I may have to take my time with this.

....before we start tapping kegs and taking doors apart, are we SURE that the child lock wasn't inadvertently set?

That's the first thing I checked and it's disengaged. Good point though.

The no resistance tells me the cable is disconnected at the handle.
