I've seen several threads on rear hatch failure, but I am experiencing an intermittent actuation of the rear hatch actuator.

To the point where it happens every few minutes and drains the battery.

Any thoughts if this is this a failure of the actuator itself?

I'd look at the switch and relay as well as the actuator.
