My rear hatch failed and will not open; the emergency method does not work. I've been told I need to have the latch replaced, I guess that is a common problem. Seems as though if it was common they would recall it and fix the problem. Anyway, has anyone replaced this themself and how did you go about getting the hatch open from the inside? Take apart paneling?
