This has been an ongoing project with most work trying to decide what i wanted, 1 of the key factors was being able to remove it easily which meant light weight - I can remove this in about 2 minutes if i need the rear free.
I don't like the commercially available drawers as they are heavy and being quite shallow they are pretty much useless apart from storing recovery gear and when putting a fridge on top it would be too high requiring a tilting fridge slide which are bulky and expensive.
The kitchen wasn't in my original plan but for $100 it saved me making a chuck style and it can be removed and has folding adjustable legs underneath, the fold out table was too long to clear the tailgate so i cut it in half and added a hinge and some alloy angle to help with the flex.
Excellent work. I have been going back and forth on purchased storage or building my own using 1/2" steel tube that can be connected and taken apart. Can you give us more details about the frame and slides? Have looked at FrontRunner storage and slides but your rig looks more with what I am shooting for. Great job!

I wanted to make a modular unit that pieces could be used separately but it was going to end up too complex and probably heavy so this is what i came up with, i used 13mm/ 1/2 inch for the uprights and top and 19mm/3/4 inch for the frame base.
Was going to use all 13mm but it wasn't rigid enough and flexed a lot with the weight of the fridge so i had an old roof rack that i cut up for the base, 10mm plywood for the top and small shelf behind the fridge. Slides i got off ebay, 700mm for the fridge and 900mm for the kitchen both rated at 125kg. The tray for the slides i made using 25mm alloy tube and plastic connectors, the fridge slide i made about 7 years ago for my old D1 for the same fridge.
Glued some felt like fabric to the wood and used those threaded ****** furniture tee nuts to bolt the plywood to the frame, i welded 2 steel loops to each side and use some short tie straps onto the factory tie down points which seems to hold ok. Its pretty snug in there as i made it to utelise as much space as possible.
