removal replacement of air suspension lines
Hey All, I am in the process of removing and replacing the air suspension lines. I went to remover the nuts that hold the lines on the top of the air shocks and bam, how the heck do you get these off? Do you need to remove the shock to remove and replace the air lines? What is the trick? thanks Phil
One of the lines was cut in an accident. Truck has been sitting and it is now on the chocks. Looks like you need to remove the air spring/shocks to get to the air line nut, gotta love Land Rover........nothing is simple or easy on these things. Well, except spending cash.......
I have noticed that the LR dealers and tyre shops that truly understand the 3 and 4, well all air suspension vehicles, lift/jack on the frame such that all the wheels and suspension components droop/hang down.
That seems to be the safe way to handle the vehicles as unplanned release of the suspension air while often causing some unanticipated wheel and suspension movement, at least the body stays put.
