Default Replace Voss valve without removing whole front air strut?

Hi Everyone. Many thanks to all of you who have posted info on this site. A soapy water test on the passenger side front air strut of my 06 LR3 is showing bubbles at the Voss valve which connects the airline to the top of the strut. I was wondering if anyone had experience of replacing the valve (the brass fitting and pinch ring) without removing the entire strut first? Can it be done or is there not enough space to do the required manipulations? Any comments greatly appreciated.

Its not a valve just a fitting, space is tight but you can undo the fitting easy enough so replacing it wont be any harder.

You do not have to remove the strut, per say, but it will be easier if you deflate the bag with the truck jacked up and remove the top three nuts at least. Will give you a lot more room to work with. Odd spot for a leak though.

I just went thru this

I could not for the life of me tighten the fitting without lowering the strut

I can't imagine successful replacement without lowering
