I recently purchased a 2006 LR3, and like others on here I’m sure, I wasn’t crazy about the headlight look/function. So I decided to make a few modifications. The first thing I did was replace the 2825 bulbs in the lower parking lamps with 194A bulbs (A = Amber). Then I removed the second parking lamp bulb and socket from the reflective strip along the side of the headlight housing, and used that lead to power the dim filament inside the 3457 turn signal bulb. The last thing I did was add an amber tinted filter over the fog light lenses. So far I have had zero issues with the functionality of the lights, and the mods have not generated any errors/warnings. Let me know what you guys think.

Do you have any pictures of the wiring?

I'm not sure how to give the turn signal bulb constant power. I'm wanting to add a switchback led there.
