Default Replacing Low Tire Pressure Module

2007 LR3. Low Tire Pressure Module needs to be replaced. I read the manual how to do it...drop the headliner (with all the things associated with that) replace the module, put the headliner back up. Just wondering if there might be another way to do that...could you gain access through the rear passenger climate control unit...could the unit be rerouted and mounted somewhere else where access was easier, maybe in a side panel...just wondering if anyone has come up with a better way to do this? Thanks.

I don't know about 2007 year vehicles but in both of my 2005's it was disabled. The option shows up in my GAP tool to enable/disable TPMS. If you really need the system then I think the factory way might be the only procedure to gain access and replace the module but based on it's picture location in the FSM I would at least try to get at it by taking the dome light out and if you have them the rear HVAC controls as well. Then you might be able to reach it.
