Ride Height Adjustment
I’m going to be in the market for new tyres in the next 6 months, obviously considering going to 32” shoes. I plan on adjusting my ride height 1” with the GAP tool to avoid any rubbing issues. Other then loosening suspension bushing bolts, other things to consider?
id also be curious if anyone has any long term fees back on the Lucky8 SYA kit?

I think there are other kits beside Lucky8 for strut lifts. They are certainly a plus incase you end up on bumps. Just make sure you get limiting straps with them to prevent CV joint stresses when a tire is fully dropped. With that said, I am up 1.5 inch over stock with calibration only. I run 275/65/18 which is 32.1". I only had to take a heat gun to the rear wheel wells to move some plastic inward. Been driving and trailing for a while now and there are some minor signs of rubbing, but nothing substantial at all. I may hit those areas with a heat gun too.
Thanks for the feedback tracyc. Just wanted to make sure the controls arms were the only suspension component that needed to be loosened when setting a new standard ride height.
DT, what manufacturer tire are you using? I'm strongly considering a 255/70/18 - 32.1" tire. There aren't enough rocks/ledges on trails in Michigan to get any advantage of wide tires. I figure the slightly skinnier tire will be more beneficial in the snow.

Bridgestone Dueler Revo and they are horrible. And not good in snow. I wanted Toyo Open County AT3 but they were months out from being back in production for the size I needed. Skinner is indeed better. Plus if needed you can air down to gain tire width.
