Default Some 18" LR Rims are '05-'07...Why?

So I'm searching for LR3 18" wheels and I know of the following model numbers. The first one says fitment is for '05-'07 models while the other two are '05-'09 models. Any idea why the first is not listed as for '05-'09? They are all 18x8, 5x120 Bolt and 53 offset. What differences could exist? Possibly TPMS?

72189 = '05-'07

72190 = '05-'09

72201 = '05-'09

They all fit. It's just a matter of whether they came on those years. I have noticed the last ones need slightly skinnier lug nuts. Can anyone else confirm this?

I've never noticed different lugs for later years. Perhaps they were running range rover wheels? I think the 03-05 RR have different lugs than the 06+

I put the later model rims, (his third one) on my wife's 05' which had the 2nd one listed and the lugs fit supper tight.

Maybe i'm tripping but seemed like they barely squeaked in. I guess Ill do some measurements.

Default limited edition

I have been told that my stock rims are limited edtion (in north america, at least), and that they were only installed on '06 models. Mine is listed as '07, but the date of manufacture was Dec '06

part number LR048088

it was super hard to find a 5th one for a full size spare. I gave up, but it turned out another forum member here on LRF had one and was searching for 4 but I wasn't going to give up my only set. He agreed to sell me the one and a few other parts.

since then I have found a set of american racing wheels that I like and I have 5 of them as well. Just ordered the rear bumper and tire carrier from Tactical. I am excited to finally have a spare tire on board (coming soon).

There is a set of 4 on eBay coming from the UK for $1250, but does not include shipping. I put them on my watch list and drool on them everyday. I have never seen a vehicle in the states with those wheels! Glad you were able to make a set of 5.

Land Rover Wheels these guys were surprisingly good for me - wheel quality, machining, finish, etc was perfect. I talked to them on the phone and said most of them come from OE factory suppliers anyways. Compared to the 22" stormers I got a few years back on ebay they're top-notch.

Came in fabric bags, with rim guards, and foam!

Thanks for asking this, I was also wondering as I'm interested in a set of the first wheels. My guess is that since they were V6 only, and the V6 was discontinued, that's why they don't list the full year range.

It's very hard to find wheel 1 or 3. The 2nd wheel pictured is the only one that seems to turn up on a regular basis.

I noticed almost all the wheels on that site EstorilM posted are wider than stock (9" or 9.5" versus 8"). Does that cause any issues with rubbing or wheels poking out?
