Sometimes, not all the time, I hear a squealing noise that sounds like a squeaky brake when I start driving out of the driveway. It goes away within a few hundred feet. Thoughts? Could this be my parking brake sticking?

I just had my front brakes and rotors replaced and ask the shop to take a look at my parking brake. They said all looks good and did not notice any squealing on test drive. But it’s definitely still there.

 

Well...parking brake is in the rear so the shop's work wouldn't affect it. As far as them "looking at it" I'm not sure what they'd be doing, especially if they are not a Rover-specific shop (are they?) I'd also look at dust shields and the calipers; the latter can stick too. When they do, they make noises and the affected rotor gets hot to the touch.

 

Not a rover shop but they did inspect all the brakes.
