Default Steering Fluid loss...what's likely to be ?

On Thursday on the way near home we started hearing a strange sound having to do with the steering !!
So we get home open hood and see steering fluid at the very bottom of the bottle...so next day we borrow a car go to dealer and get Steering fluid.
We get home and before putting it in look at steering fluid container in car and it's about the same at the bottom of the bottle..but then looking under car fluid has stained the drive way about a two ft circle wet.So we figure filling won't stay in.
*What is it likely to be? We had a Steering Fluid Flush a few months ago at a regular mechanic.
What is it most likely do you think ??
Many thanks : )

So in the end it was the small gaskets/washers at the end of the lines that go into the rack ( I think it's called)
The longer hose/ line was changed around two months ago and it seems the guy took both lines off the rack and when reattaching he damaged/cut both old and new gaskets..(and stripped bolt as well)
The Mechanic said I should take it back to the guy that did it cause he is responsible and should stand behind it but I told mechanic to take care of it cause the other guy who did that job( and a bunch of others at the time) will I'm sure charge me anyway cause he's inflexible, defensive and bad mooded.
So saved the grief and time.
Glad to have leak solved.

If you have the energy, at least call the mechanic who failed you and tell him how he F'ed it up and what you had to do to repair, and why you're never using him again.
