Default Steering issues, suspension problem level set to normal

Hi Guys,

Have a friend here with an LR3 and he having the above issues, steering is very difficult or what I would say as "choppy". Suspension is giving an error that says it's being set to normal.

I'm a Disco 2 guy so this is a whole new animal for me. Any advice on where to start?

Can we get more background on what is happening when this occurs. Suspension would be on "normal" when operating on normal highway conditions.

items that come to mind, are sensors, tires, air suspension or components and power steering fluid / pump, bushings, etc.

If I start the car up I can raise the suspension level. Once I start driving within a minute it will "Suspension Error, setting to normal"

Power steering fluid is good, could be the pump. But this air suspension I have no clue where to start

Look at the steering shaft u joints. one is probably frozen causing it to bind.
An off center steering wheel, (where the calibrated steering angle sensor value is off)
can cause a suspension fault to normal after driving.

How does one go about centering the steering wheel?

#5 is the one I listed, wait for Mike he's the authority. No, LRX has no grease fittings. The lower joint have an issue with some play, that's why i changed mine.
