I was in with the tech at the dealer when my software was updated and it took over an hour to do, closer to an hour and a half. Mine is an 07 HSE. It did fix some issues with suspension codes and lights, transmission lag from stop etc.
As someone already stated though, cat efficiency codes are an indicator of interpreted data from the o2 sensors. I am having occasional cel and efficiency codes but then it will either clear itself or after clearing with scanner, doesn't come back for weeks. There's anecdotal evidence that winter gas and or methanol can mess with the cats and throw codes.
