UPDATE: just to close the loop on this thread and to help other future 2006 LR3 V6 owners:

The PCV valve is NOT where it's shown in the service manual (at least not for 06 v6's), as seen here:

Where it actually is, is on the right upper side, behind the crankcase. Right on the upper right corner there. That is where the PCV valve with the electrical connector is. No idea why the service manual shows it where it shows it.

I hope this helps someone in the future!

Glad you found it, what about the issue? Is it still hesitating?

Hi,

I also have the V6 engine KidA While cleaning the throttle body the plastic part that goes into the breather hose broke.

It connects the the hose that you gave the part number for.

I can't find this piece Any chance you know what it is?

Also, do you have the PCV part number?

I know this is an old post, my 2005 LR3 is also missing the PCV Valve so I now believe it is not installed on every LR3 and not a standard feature. You are at the exact right location, there is no electrical connector on my vehicle either.

Like I said in a follow up above: the manual is bull**** when it comes to the PCV valve. It's not where it says it is.

Also, even though I got a new PCV valve, I never ended up changing the ****er because I literally can't get to it. Also, wasn't even the source of the rough idle, so it's moot anyway.

To add further knowledge. Land Rover calls the part the original poster showed photos of the CCV (Crankcase ventilation hose) this is seperate from the PCV. The PCV (Positive crankcase ventilation) is on the same valve cover with the oil filler cap, and back towards the firewall.
