Sunroof drain fix
So about to do the sunroof drains and especially the one nipple just above the CJB.
I can replace all of them with stock replacements. Taking the headliner out any way to strip down and paint.
I can just cut the nipple out and use a 12mm hose push connector to extend some more 12mm hose out the hole and skip the stupid nipple all together.
Or buy the stock replacements with the nipples on the end, just clip off the nipple and use the 12mm hose push connectors to reconnect them (This seems like a stupid option as I would introduce a leak point with the connector and why not replace them entirely since I already have the truck apart.)
Reason I am asking is it seems the biggest issue is the elbow with the nipple on it. The nipple is supposedly for keeping crap from going up into the sunroof drain, but specifically on the right passenger front side, there is no way for crap to get up in there. And it seems the nipple is what causes the drain line to get clogged in the first place.
What are ya'lls thoughts

I found there was a decent amount of excess hose. So I cut mine and use push-connects. with a short section of OEM hoses. This was LONG before you can get all new push-on tips from Amazon for just $15. I think I spend around $60? for new hoses just to toss the hoses away for the ends. The old nipples are cross shaped and indeed trap stuff. BAD design. I think the HVAC drains are the same way. The Amazon tips and all new OEM ones are round and wide open.
