Default Sunroof passenger area

My passenger area has a cracked sunroof, the exterior glass looks perfect, cannot figure out how the interior glass got damaged.

What am I looking at to get it replaced?

Can any good glass shop do it?

Hey there,

I also have a cracked sunroof, although mine is cracked on the outside due to a stone chip. I noticed one earlier on and had it filled (for free!) but the second chip went unnoticed until it cracked I live in a small town and the local glass shop says it shouldn't be a problem. Just be sure to ask if they will warranty their work - nobody likes a leaky sunroof!

re: cost. Mine will be a glass claim through insurance. Shop rates are different everywhere you go. The cheapest option is to find the replacement at a wrecking yard. I had a link to Standard Auto Wrecking saved but the roof top glass on the wreck is sold. I have included it anyway as you my find it useful for something else.

There you go, mine too was cracked over the passenger area.. I'd call around to some of the local glass shops. You want an experienced installer, or you could end up with leaks, etc. I would guess our local dealer subs the work out, but I don't know to who. You can order the glass online, but it will be expensive shipping it.

You can't replace the sunroof, it's one piece, the entire glass roof.
