Default Suspension Air Compressor FAIL.....

Since I found out the extended warranty did not cover the compressor, decided to pull it off and examine the unit. As soon as I pulled off the assembly, I heard a rattle. It seemed to be at the crank..

I pulled off the cover and found this....

That sucks. Are you going to replace with new, or try to find a good used one?

Yea, completely understand you. Mine went down a week ago, ordered on ebay used one that was advertised as slightly used and in working condition. Unfortunatly, delivery valve had hole in it. Will be shipping it back to sender. Maybe you be willing to sell your broken unit for reasonable price, since mine has damage to exhast valve area? Probably will try to fix my. Thanks.

Do not think you want mine, it is completely dead and not worth fixing.

I am having issues with the rebuilt one now. I works, but I have to get the system to reset.....

Yes, there are more steps in the process, according to thechnical bulletin software needs to be updated. Also, I read about new relay needs to be installed as well. However it will work as it is for some time. In regards to my compressor, everything is ok except damage to delivery valve housing. So, I could still fix it if I can locate used compressor with damaged motor/drive.
