Suspension Failure...need ideas
So I have a NAS LR3 and today I had my first real issue with it. Left our campsite and got about 2 miles down the road and I got. Asuspension fault 30mph max message. I pulled over and got out and found I had dropped to the bumpstops and could hear the valve solenoid s cycling. But my pump wasn't running. I limped home and scanned with my IID tool and it said my Right Front, and both rear sensors were out of range. Checked around and didn't see any damage or anything out of the norm. So I jacked up the truck a little bit and re scanned and the faults cleared and it raised back up. I have had the scanner hooked up and it shows no pressure drop or movement on any corner for 20 mins. So my concern is what happened....did a valve get stuck and dump the system or what. I have to tow a camper 3 hours home in a couple days and don't want any issues.
Usually a suspension fault with a 30 MPH limit is cross-articulation. Was there a RED icon or amber?
Usually an out of range fault clears upon reboot and it is when the commanded height is greater than the system allows. That doesn't happen unless there are lift-rods installed or a higher setting used through the IIDTool.
What happens if you drive it now and get above 45 mph for a minute or so? Does it fault out?

So I don't have lift rods, and I had it set to +15 with the IID tool.
It was a red EAS light when it dropped to bumpstops.
Even after I reset the ECU it was still showing the out of range on the 3 corners. And it still wouldn't raise. The only way I could get it to raise off the bump stops was to jack the truck up.
Is there a way to override the whole system and force it to raise up with the IID tool?

No....jacking is necessary sometimes when things go really sideways. I would be curious what your calibration values are. +15 doesn't mean anything without context of what each corner is set at, since 255 is the max. I think there is more going on than just that, though.
You should really check your calibration. You didn't answer my 2nd question....what if you got in it right now and drove it on a highway above 45 mph? Will it show a fault and drop you down to Access height? That will really help provide some answers. How many miles, anyway?

So after I got it back up yesterday we went for a trip along with today. Got over 45 with no issues. When I get home I will do a calibration. It's an 08 with 130k
with an extensive service history. Only thing EAS that has been replaced is the compressor.

A couple of things:
With the IID tool you can go into "Test Mode", then "Suspension" with suspension and air up each corner or all four individually. If it is "Out of Range" that may be one way to bring it up a little bit till it shows up.
It is possible you need to re-calibrate your "bottom out" with the vehicle "normal" position being +15mm. You may have hit something hard enough that the computer didn't recognize the resistor range of the ride height sensor. This may have caused your fault.
I have external valves on my rigs with an alternate compressor so I can raise each corner individually if the EAS goes sideways.

With that kind of mileage I wonder about the longevity of your front shocks. If you got over 45mph with no issues then it's not a cross-articulation fault and your calibration is probably fine. For sure read codes and use the IIDTool for all its worth to guide you on this one.

I will prolly still check the calibration. It hasn't given me any more issues, even got my trailer home with no issues.
